Sarah Adwoa Safo Backs Brother Israel Kwadwo Safo in Kantanka Family Reconciliation

Former Dome-Kwabenya Member of Parliament, Sarah Adwoa Safo, has expressed her support for her brother, Israel Kwadwo Safo, as the Kantanka family seeks to resolve past disagreements and protect the legacy of their late father, Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo.

In a statement issued on Thursday, October 8, Sarah Adwoa Safo said the family must put their differences aside and concentrate on preserving the values, vision and achievements their father left behind.

She said she had consciously chosen reconciliation and was committed to rebuilding unity among the members of the family.

“I have chosen the path of reconciliation, founded upon love, mutual respect and the enduring undisputed bonds of family,” she said.

Sarah Adwoa Safo also publicly declared her support for Israel Kwadwo Safo, recognising him as the Leader of the Kantanka Family and the Kristo Asfo Church, in accordance with what she described as their late father’s wishes.

“He has my full support, and I state unequivocally that I am prepared and willing to work together with him in the interest of the family and the Church, in furtherance of our father’s Vision and Legacy,” she said.

According to her, the responsibility of protecting and advancing their father’s legacy belongs to all his children and should not be placed on one individual.

“Our father’s legacy transcends any one individual. It is a collective inheritance and a profound responsibility entrusted to us, as his children, and it is a charge we must keep and hold on to, dearly,” she said.

She called on the family to move beyond their differences and work together to protect the institutions and principles Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo established during his lifetime.

Sarah Adwoa Safo further appealed to members of the Kristo Asfo Church, the wider Kantanka family and all others associated with their father’s work to recognise the importance of maintaining unity within the family.

“Let us embrace this new chapter with reconciliation, fraternity and a shared sense of purpose,” she said.

She concluded by extending goodwill to Israel Kwadwo Safo and her other siblings as they begin what she described as a renewed journey of peace and forgiveness.

“May this new chapter bring healing, unity and renewed strength as we come together to honour and advance the legacy of our beloved father,” she said.
