Afigya Kwabre North DCE: Development Has No Political Color-Pampatia Project Proof
The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Afigya Kwabre North, Hon. Emmanuel Jackson Agumah, has strongly dismissed claims of political bias in the distribution of infrastructure, declaring that the government under President John Dramani Mahama is committed to equitable development across all communities, regardless of voting patterns.
Hon. Agumah made these remarks on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, while commissioning a newly constructed 2-unit kindergarten block with ancillary facilities at Kyekyewere Methodist School and another at Boamang Maase.
Addressing chiefs and residents during the ceremony, the DCE addressed concerns surrounding the community of Pampatia traditionally known as an opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) stronghold where the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has historically struggled to secure significant votes.
Despite Pampatia voting overwhelmingly for the opposition, Hon. Agumah highlighted that the community has recently been favored with the construction of a newly furnished 6-unit classroom block with an office—marking the very first major school infrastructure project the area has seen in generations.
“My administration as DCE does not involve politics in the execution of my duties. We ensure that we follow proper guidelines to guarantee every single community benefits from initiated projects,” Hon. Agumah emphasized.
He noted that the NDC administration, fueled by enhancements to the District Assemblies Common Fund, operates on a philosophy of absolute inclusion.
He stressed that leadership should never punish citizens for their political choices, pointing to Pampatia as a prime example of inclusive governance in action.
The DCE urged residents across the Afigya Kwabre North District to look beyond partisan lines and rally behind the government’s developmental agenda, assuring them that his office remains fully dedicated to serving all citizens fairly and efficiently.
