Prince Ofosu Sefah
Prince Ofosu Sefah, son of late Apostle E.A Ofosu, a founder of the Brotherhood Church, has clarified misconceptions about the church being occultic. He explained that the church prays to the Most High God and originated from the Anglican Church.
In the 19th century, the church was under the Nigerian Aladura Church, meaning “prayers,” led by Rev. Ohsutelu. However, due to disagreements over finances and lack of visible benefits, the Brotherhood Church parted ways with Aladura. Prince Ofosu emphasized that the separation led to the church’s growth, with numerous branches worldwide and social responsibility initiatives, including schools.

He let this known to the newsupgh.com at the church premises, when the church was doing their grand durbar celebration of their 50years anniversary.
He shared that Vice President Dr. Mahamadu Bawumiah plans to designate churches as development partners if he becomes president, similar to Catholic churches receiving duty-free benefits for importing materials to support national development.
Prince Ofosu, who has worked with the National Communication Authority (NCA) and Ghana Investment Fund for Electronics Communication (GIFEC) since 2017, highlighted the current government’s achievements. He cited an independent report showing that 77% of the NPP’s manifesto has been accomplished and urged Brotherhood Church members to consider this when voting.
Prince Ofosu endorsed the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the 2024 elections, praising their performance despite facing challenges like COVID-19 and the Russia-Ukraine war. He contrasted this with the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) tenure, which he claimed was marked by failure even in more favorable times.
