POSITION: VICE CHANCELLOR
Job Description
- The Vice-Chancellor is the academic and administrative head of the university, accountable to the Governing council.
- The Vice Chancellor is the Chief Disciplinary Officer and has authority over all employees and students, subject to the university’s Act and Statutes.
- The Vice Chancellor promotes quality higher education and research, and provides academic and administrative leadership.
Qualification & Experience
- Possess unblemished character and a high level of personal integrity
- Possess s PhD and extensive research in a relevant area of the university’s mandate.
- Be a distinguished scholar of international repute who can inspire and motivate employees to strive for excellence in research, professional education and communication training.
Terms of appointment
- To be determine by the governing council, according to the university’s act and statutes.
- Attractive salary and fringe benefits.
- Reappointment for a single term.
