Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Amansie South district of Ashanti Mr. Kofi Acheampong, has appealed to the current flag bearer of the incumbent New Patriotic Party and also doubles as Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumiah, to help develop Amansie South Constituency and it’s environs, or else he will not get any good message to campaign for him coming 2024 general elections.

According to Chairman Kofi Acheampong the District is in mess and a deplorable stage and nothing good comes from the government to the community whilst this Constituency is New Patriotic Party stronghold..

Chairman continue that during the Presidential Primaries campaign tour he didn’t takes it on a silver platter. ” Things were difficult for me because my people sees it that their political party is in power and they don’t benefits any good thing from it so why should we waste our time to go and vote.
And it is true all our road networks is in tatters condition, we have a big Hospital like St. Martin’s Catholic Hospital which was established in 1957 and it is serving towns, villages and beyond for more than 66 years down the line but yet still from Manso Mim which is the first town on the Map of Amansie South to Manso Agroyesum has always denied access of good road networks which is not helping in anyway” Chairman lamented.

Chairman Kofi Acheampong made this known to newsupgh.com at the grounds of NPP Presidential Primaries when the electoral commission call for the election and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumiah emerge as the winner and Chairman was popping Champagne for Dr. Bawumiah to celebrate his win.

Chairman Kofi Acheampong further said when it is time to recruit security personnel like ( Police, Army, immigration, Fire Service) and others. The share they gave to the executives for them to share to their constituence Amansie South is out of bounds, they never received theirs.
