During a tour of the various communities to hand over the sites to contractors, Hon. Obeng Agyemang emphasized that the health facilities are designed to be comprehensive. They will include nurses’ accommodation and will be fully equipped to ensure effective service delivery from day one.

The DCE has set a strict six-month deadline for the completion of all projects. Speaking to the media, he cautioned contractors to adhere strictly to the timeline and technical specifications to avoid delays or substandard work.

To ensure value for money, the DCE tasked local chiefs, assembly members, and residents to act as watchdogs.

“This oversight mechanism is designed to guarantee that contractors deliver quality workmanship that meets established standards and community needs,” the DCE stated.

The chiefs of the beneficiary communities expressed their gratitude to the DCE for bringing essential services particularly healthcare and clean water and education, closer to their doorsteps.
