Muslim Leaders Pray for Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe as She Supports Communities with Cash and Equipment

On Monday, August 25, 2025, Muslim leaders and Imams of Amenfi Central, accompanied by their sacrificial sheep, paid a special courtesy visit to the Member of Parliament, Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, at her residence in Agona Amenfi.

The clerics offered powerful prayers (Adua) for the MP, invoking Allah’s blessings, guidance, and protection upon her life, leadership, and service to the people of Amenfi Central.

In response, Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe expressed her heartfelt appreciation for the prayers and spiritual support. To further demonstrate her commitment to improving lives, she donated GH¢10,000 in cash, five sewing machines, and five hair dryers to empower women and youth within the constituency.

The donation, according to her, is part of her long-standing vision to support income-generating ventures, create employment opportunities, and promote self-reliance among constituents.

Community leaders and beneficiaries described the gesture as timely and impactful, noting that the items will not only provide livelihoods but also inspire hope across various communities.

Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe reaffirmed her pledge to continue working tirelessly for the development of Amenfi Central, stressing that her leadership goes beyond politics and is rooted in service, humility, and compassion.

Her supporters say the visit and donations once again underscore her role as a motherly figure in politics—someone who listens, cares, and acts to improve the welfare of her people regardless of religion, gender, or status.
