Tragedy Strikes: Tumu College of Education Principal Dies in Gory Accident
A tragic accident on the Tumu-Bolgatanga road has claimed the life of Mr. Selanwiah Demah Abdul-Mumin, the Principal of Tumu College of Education. The fatal collision occurred on December 23, 2024, between a Tipper Truck (GT-485-24) and a Government Pick-Up Vehicle (GV-27-16).
According to reports from Radford FM, the accident happened in the afternoon near the stretch between Bassisan and the Sissili Bridge. Eyewitnesses revealed that the crash left occupants of the vehicles trapped, prompting immediate responses from the Ambulance Service and Fire Service. Banu Police were also among the first responders at the scene.
This heartbreaking incident has left the Tumu College of Education and the local community in mourning.
