Salaga-South MP Explores Scholarship and Development Partnerships in Russia

The Member of Parliament for Salaga-South, Hon. Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, has paid a working visit to Novosibirsk Agricultural University in Russia to explore educational cooperation and scholarship opportunities for Ghanaian students.

Discussions with the university leadership focused on establishing scholarship pathways for Ghanaian students, with particular attention to students from Salaga-South, in critical fields such as engineering, agriculture, technology, and renewable energy.

The talks also explored broader areas of partnership, including support for water infrastructure development, agriculture, ICT, and job creation initiatives aimed at improving livelihoods within the constituency.

Hon. Hajia Zuwera was accompanied by her colleague, the MP for Nkoranza South and Minister of State in charge of Special Initiatives, Hon. Emmanuel Kwadwo Agyekum.
