Safe-Child Advocacy Marks Two Decades of Service to Vulnerable Children

Safe-Child Advocacy, a non-governmental organization under the Catholic Archdiocese of Kumasi and managed by the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul, has proudly celebrated its 20th anniversary at st.peters Basilica .

This was Established in 2005 by Emeritus Archbishop Peter Akwasi Sarpong as the founder and Archbishop Gabriel justice Yaw Anokye as the legal owner, the organization has been dedicated to promoting the rights and well-being of children, youth, and women in street and other vulnerable situations.

Over the past two decades, Safe-Child Advocacy has worked tirelessly to provide essential services to its target group, including formal education, vocational training, advocacy, and comprehensive support.

The organization’s efforts have focused on reintegrating and rehabilitating vulnerable children and young women, facilitating their access to education and skills training, and ensuring economically independent and meaningful futures.

The anniversary celebration marks a significant milestone in the organization’s history, highlighting its commitment to creating a society where every child enjoys a safe childhood and is empowered to reach their full potential.
