Peaceful Special Voting Conducted in Amansie South District

The Amansie South District today successfully held its special voting exercise at the district police station and court grounds. The process, supervised by Electoral Commission officer Mr. Eric Anane, was calm and orderly, with all party agents maintaining a cooperative and peaceful demeanor.

Out of the 191 registered voters, 139 cast their votes in the presidential election, while 138 participated in the parliamentary poll. Notably, one voter opted to vote only in the presidential election.

A total of 52 registered voters did not turn up to vote, resulting in a turnout of 72%. The voting grounds remained serene throughout the exercise, with proceedings concluding smoothly and on time.

This peaceful conduct underscores the commitment of all stakeholders to a fair and transparent electoral process.
