Hon. Kwaku Marfo, the Liberal party parliamentary candidate for Manhyia South, has expressed the urgent need for development and improvement in the constituency. During a peace walk campaign held on November 10, 2024, he highlighted the lack of social amenities and disorganization in the area.

Marfo emphasized the need for better infrastructure, pointing out that the ambulance has been spoilt for the past four years and the fire service vehicle has been out of commission for almost a year. He described the current situation in Manhyia South as unacceptable, stating that the constituency should be comparable to Buckingham Palace.

The candidate, who hails from Kumasi Magazine, a hub for artisans and entrepreneurs, pledged to utilize his expertise in entrepreneurship to revitalize the local businesses in the constituency. Marfo promised to restore collapsed businesses and provide support for the youth who are engaged in manufacturing and producing quality shoes and slippers

If elected, Marfo plans to prioritize the completion of the Krofrom market within the first 100 days of his term. He assured the residents that he understands their struggles and will work tirelessly to bring progress and development to Manhyia South.

In a call to action, Marfo urged all residents, regardless of their political affiliations, to support his candidacy for the upcoming elections. He believes that his initiatives and dedication to the constituency will bring about positive change and improve the lives of the people in Manhyia South.
