ECG to Undertake Emergency Maintenance in Ashanti Region on Thursday
The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced that it will carry out emergency maintenance works in parts of the Ashanti Region to enhance service delivery.
According to a statement issued by the company, the scheduled maintenance will take place on Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The affected areas include: Asuofua, Nketiah, Asamang, Achiaase, Amoaman, Adugyama, Pokukrom, Biemso No.1, Fufuo, Consar Quarry Stones, Adankwame, parts of Kromoase, Afasiebon, Kokoso, Adoato, Amanfrom, Ohwim, Hemang, Ampatia, Trede, Ampabame No.2, Darko and Sabin Akrofrom, Ahenkro, parts of Offinso, Kodie, Denase, Anomangye, Mpataso, Asuogya, Daban Town, Cindys, parts of Apraan, parts of Sokoban, Mim, Bodwesango, parts of Afari, and surrounding areas.
ECG expressed regret for any inconvenience the outage may cause to customers, assuring that the exercise is necessary to improve power supply reliability in the region.
