BOSOMTWE RURAL BANK PLC HIT A PROFIT RECORD OF GH¢12,097,477 in 2024

Bosomtwe Rural Bank PLC has recorded a profit tax of GH¢12,097,477 in 2024, compared to GH¢6,729,113 in 2023. This tune out in profitability came about as a result of an increase in interest income and better cost control.

Speaking in an Interview with the Board Chairman of the Bank, Benjamin Osei-Boateng (Esq) added that the increase in high profits by the Bank rose based on operational efficiencies and discipline exhibited by Management.

He added that the total assets of the bank increased by 66.38% from GH 206, 160,098 in 2023 to GH 343,029,680 in 2024.

Mr Boadu discloses that the board has approved a dividend payment of GH 0.04 per share for the 2024 financial year. This declaration, he said, reflects the bank’s strengthened performance, prudent financial management, and commitment to delivering value to its shareholders.

According to him, the board appreciates the continuous effort and confidence shareholders enshrine in them and therefore pledges the bank’s commitment to sustain returns in the year ahead.

On his part, the District Chief Executive for Bosomtwe district, ING. Abdullah Hamid appeals to the bank to support farmers and Traders with loans when necessary to aid them in doing their work effectively and efficiently.

According to him, his outfit is available to support any developmental initiative the bank introduces in the district.
