Amansie Central DCE Donates Delivery Beds to Atobiase Health Center to Boost Maternal Care

​ The Atobiase Health Center has received a significant boost in maternal healthcare infrastructure following a donation of two new delivery beds by the District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Amansie Central District, Hon. Emmanuel Obeng Agyemang.

​The intervention was prompted by urgent reports from local residents, who brought the deteriorating state of the facility’s existing equipment to the DCE’s attention through photographic evidence. Recognizing the critical nature of the situation, Hon. Agyemang immediately collaborated with health partners to secure the new equipment to ensure safe deliveries for mothers in the community.

​During the presentation, the DCE urged the health staff to maintain the new beds diligently to ensure they remain in good condition and serve the community for years to come.

​“The health and safety of our mothers remain a top priority. We cannot compromise on the quality of care provided at our facilities,” Hon. Agyemang stated.

​The District Health Director, Mr. Oppong Ahmed Amprantwum, who received the donation on behalf of the facility, commended the DCE for his swift responsiveness to the community’s healthcare needs.

​”The DCE has consistently shown that the health needs of this district are at the forefront of his agenda,” Mr. Amprantwum noted. “We are committed to working closely with his office to ensure that accessible and high-quality healthcare remains a reality for all residents of Amansie Central.”

​This donation is expected to significantly improve the birthing experience at the Atobiase Health Center, reducing risks and enhancing the capacity of midwives to provide safer, more comfortable care for expectant mothers.
