Atwima Mponua MP Empowers BECE Candidates with Essential Tools and Scholarship Pledges

In a significant boost to local education, the Member of Parliament for Atwima Mponua, Hon. Seth Osei Akoto, has distributed mathematical sets to Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates across the constituency.

The donation arrived just as students prepared to begin their national examinations on May 4. These mathematical sets are critical for core subjects like Mathematics and Integrated Science, providing students with the precision tools needed to excel and the confidence to perform at their best.

During the distribution exercise, Hon. Osei Akoto reaffirmed his dedication to the youth of Atwima Mponua, stating that education remains the cornerstone of the constituency’s future.

“This gesture is part of my continuous effort to promote education and ensure that no student is left behind due to a lack of basic learning tools,” the MP remarked.

Beyond the immediate donation, the MP raised the stakes for academic performance by announcing a new sponsorship initiative.

He pledged that any student who achieves an aggregate score between 6 and 15 will receive financial sponsorship to support their transition into senior high school.

The District Director of Education, Ms. Ama Adwubi Asafu-Adjaye, commended the MP for his unwavering commitment to the district’s academic standards. She noted that such consistent support has a direct, positive impact on both teaching morale and student learning outcomes.
