Ahafo Ano South-West DCE Calls for Unity and Peace After Eid Celebrations

The District Chief Executive for Ahafo Ano South-West Hon. Abubakar Sedik has called for a continuous promotion of peace and unity within the district following the successful conclusion of the Ramadan fast and Eid celebrations.

According to the DCE, it is relevant to push for growth and development within the district, but without continuous propagating for peace and unity among oneself decisions making becomes irrelevant.

He emphasized the effective collaboration with Muslims, Christians, and other religious bodies towards the promotion of peace and unity within Mankranso and its Environs.

Hon. Sedik urged citizens to show love to one another, care for their neighbors, and treat others with dignity and respect.

He therefore charges the youth to desist from any form of violence and parties or celebrations that may trigger danger and cause death after Eid celebrations.

He made the assertion at the just-ended Eid celebration held at the Mankranso AstroTurf, and expressed optimism for the future, praying for a prosperous year ahead for all.

He asked for Allah’s mercy, the acceptance of prayers, and the fulfillment of the needs of individuals and families seeking a better life.

In terms of development and growth in the district, the DCE noted, the lack of Islamic teachers remains a challenge within the Islamic schools, especially Arabic teachers ,he therefore assures of employing more Arabic teachers to instill knowledge into the students. His outfit will look for funding to motivate and support these teachers for the brighter future of the students.

Touching on social values, Islamic Chief of Ahafo Ano South-West, Hamid Yusif Sammid emphasized the importance of unity, kindness, and humanity.

According to him a collective prayers and faith remain essential in overcoming current challenges and building a stronger society.

He encourages the youth to endow their trust in Allah for relief from hardship and improved living conditions after Eid Celebrations.

“We don’t have anything called Sala dance, advising the youth to refrain from such kind of engagement and celebrations describing it as Sala Dance. He lamented.

Assembly Member for Mankranso, Paul Kwesi A.commend the hard work of the DCE for massive growth and development within the district.

“This year Eid celebration is the first of its kind, especially having it on the beautiful AstroTurf with canopies means a lot to the DCE with good vision to develop Ahafo Ano South-West District “.He added.
