Pete Edochie Arrives in Ghana for Legacy Project Launch
Veteran Nigerian actor Chief Pete Edochie has arrived at the Accra International Airport for a high-profile visit to Ghana as part of activities surrounding the launch of the Pete Edochie Legacy Project.
The visit forms part of Accra Legacy Week, scheduled from September 29 to October 7, 2026, and is expected to provide fans and members of the creative industry with opportunities to interact with the veteran screen legend.
A major highlight of his visit will be the official unveiling of the Pete Edochie Legacy Project, an initiative aimed at celebrating his decades-long career and contribution to African entertainment.
The project will also recognise his cultural influence and his role in shaping African screen entertainment long before the emergence and growth of the modern Nollywood industry.
As part of the programme, a Legacy Lecture Series has been planned to celebrate Edochie’s life, artistic career and contributions to the entertainment industry.
The lecture is scheduled to take place at the University of Media, Arts and Communication (UniMAC) South Legon campus on Tuesday, October 6, 2026.
The extended visit is expected to feature several engagements designed to bring Chief Pete Edochie closer to his Ghanaian fans, creatives and other players within the African entertainment industry.
