SUAME MP SUPPORTS INSTITUTIONS WITH GH500,000 WORLTH EQUIPMENT AND SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS

The Member of Parliament for the Suame Constituency, Hon. John Darko, has awarded scholarships to 34 students and supported several institutions with equipment worth GH 500,000 within the Suame municipality as a means of empowering individuals, improving education, and strengthening service delivery in the municipality.

The GH 500,000 equipment distribution forms part of his broader commitment to inclusive development, improved public service delivery, and sustainable progress across the Suame constituency.

Beneficiary institutions include the health sector, education, the Ghana National Fire Service, seamstress groups, and the Disability Union within the municipality. The items distributed include air conditioners, projectors, laptops, desktop computers, wheelchairs, refrigerators, motorbikes, 500 sets of tables and chairs, sewing machines, and rechargeable fans.

Additionally, the MP awarded scholarships to 34 students from the constituency to support them in further education in their respective fields. According to him education remains a key priority, whereas this financial support will go a long way to transform and empower these student to reach their goals in life.

Speaking in an Interview with the media at the short ceremony, Hon.John Darko advised individuals and beneficiary institutions to place value on the items provided, stressing that discipline and maintenance would ensure their sustainability.

Some beneficiaries who received the items expressed profound appreciation to the MP for this enormous support to the intervention which seeks to elevate a burden from institutions and individuals as a whole.
