Hajia Zuwera Reaffirms Support for Salaga Municipal Fire Service

The Member of Parliament for Salaga South, Hon. Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, has reiterated her continuous support for the Salaga Municipal Fire Service, assuring her commitment to enhancing emergency response in the constituency.

During an interaction with the Service, the MP highlighted her office’s financial contributions towards the maintenance of the municipal fire engine. Notably, in August 2025, she provided GH₵9,000 to ensure the vehicle remained operational.

According to Hon. Hajia Zuwera, her interventions reflect a broader commitment to safeguarding lives and property in Salaga South, Kpandai, and Salaga North. She stressed that her actions were guided by transparency and accountability, dismissing what she described as fictitious narratives and misinformation surrounding her support for the fire service.

The engagement also shed light on concerns about the leadership of the municipal fire service. Allegations of insincerity and possible dereliction of duty on the part of the commanding head were raised, sparking discussions about the need for improved accountability within the outfit.
