Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo Awards Gh¢100,000 Scholarship to 45 Students in Amansie South District
In a heartwarming gesture, Honorable Yaw Frimpong Addo, Member of Parliament for Amansie South District, has presented scholarships worth Gh¢100,000 to 45 deserving students pursuing tertiary education. This initiative, started in 2013, has been an annual tradition, with the MP now focusing exclusively on tertiary students due to the Free SHS policy.
At the presentation ceremony, Hon. Frimpong emphasized his commitment to supporting his constituency’s education and development. He urged beneficiaries to excel academically and become future leaders, while encouraging voters to re-elect him to continue his good work.
Beneficiaries, including Gideon Amoako from Akenten Appiah Minka University and Ivy from Kumasi Technical University, expressed gratitude and pledged to campaign for Hon. Frimpong’s re-election.
Constituency Chairman Hon. Kofi Achempong hailed the initiative as a significant achievement, stressing the importance of retaining power to continue supporting students.
