Yango Group, a prominent global technology firm specializing in daily services, has introduced the Yango Education program in Ghana. The initiative seeks to grant eligible Ghanaians, who are aged 18 and have completed basic education, free access to online fundamental data analytics courses. In an era where technology is increasingly central to human endeavors and the nation continues to expand its digital presence, launching this programme comes at a crucial time.

Through learning how to gather, analyze, and present data on business growth, participants acquire a skill set that aids in personal and professional development. It also aids in enhancing marketability in the job sector, creating avenues for career progression, and improving decision-making abilities.

Yango offers complimentary access to an online course in Python and SQL data analysis. To be eligible for these courses, applicants must meet the following criteria: be over 18 years old, own a laptop or PC, possess a high school diploma, and have an internet connection. Preference will be given to those eager to further their education and embark on a career in data analysis. Throughout the year, the course will be available to 500 selected students, chosen via application review and personal interviews with the Yango team. The first group of approximately 250 participants is set to commence the program.

In the meantime, Felix Agbolosu, a partner driver for Yango, is eager to take advantage of this opportunity, along with his niece. “Providing this educational course to Ghanaians is an excellent initiative by Yango, showcasing their care and concern for the well-being of the community. In today’s world, IT education has become increasingly significant, and I am grateful for the opportunity to participate in such a vital program. I believe this course will enable me, my family, and numerous other beneficiaries to gain a deeper understanding of technology and apply this newfound knowledge in our daily lives.”

The course spans 80 hours, with a schedule of 20 hours per week, which equates to one month of learning. For further details and application process, visit the Yango Education program website here.
