ROAD INFRASTRUCTURE IS OUR MAJOR CHALLENGE_AHAFO ANO SOUTH WEST DCE CRY

 

Government effort and commitment is to ensure that every district develops through the hardwork of the District Chief Executive, for this grwoth and development to be established, the District Chief Executive for Ahafo Ano South-West District, Hon.Abubaka Sedik has appealed to the NDC national Chairman, General Johnson Asiedu Nketiah to support the district to erase the bad road network which poses as a threat to the district.

Adding that youth unemployment is another factor whereas government is working towards it but pleaded for the youth in Ahafo Ano South-West District to be carefully factored towards youth employment in the district.

 

The DCE mentioned that within a year term in office ,the district through his effort has initiated a number of projects which include, breaking ground for CHPS compond, School infrastructure, bore holes, renovation of old CHPS compound and school, support to the PWD’S and apprentices through the government apprenticeship training programme. Adding the district has also outlined numerous developmental projects to be done this year to support all persons especially employing teachers for Islamic schools to teach Arabic, providing youth with the necessary employment in the district.

“I will be grateful if your office support my district by solving our bad road network which is a major challenge and the community has been crying for the road to be done”.He lamented.

 

Hon.Abubakar Sedik made the assertion to the NDC national chairman, General Johnson Aseidu Nketia during his thank you tour with his entourage at the Ahafo Ano South-West District.

Touching on some happenings in the various district visited ,Chairman Aseidu Nketia commended the DCE, Abubakar for his effort in bringing all party folks together through unity and love, indicating the commitment and hardwork of the DCE will not be in vain in the next years to come.

 

Addressing the ongoing outlined projects by the DCE, Hon. Aseidu Nketia announced that, Government under President John Dramani Mahama will double the funds given to support the district assembly in terms of project and initiatives for easy continous of such initiatives to brightening and developing Ahafo Ano South-West District.

“I believe by the hardwork of your DCE and party folks, the district will compel people to take the seat from the NPP even without a second thought”.

Hon.Aseidu Nketia appealed to Ghanaians to have patience by giving President Mahama adequate time to continue his developmental agenda of restoring the economy and brightening the country.
