Lawyer Charles J. Owusu
The Tertiary Students Confederacy (TESCON), the student wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has received a significant boost from renowned philanthropist and international lawyer, Charles J. Owusu.
At the Akenten Appiah Minka University in Tanoso-Kumasi, during the handover ceremony of TESCON’s outgoing executives to the newly elected ones, Lawyer Owusu announced his decision to sponsor TESCON members to reach out to the masses across the country and educate them about the good works of the NPP government.
Lawyer Owusu emphasized that he is using his own resources to support TESCON, driven by his commitment to the party and the country. He believes that TESCON members, who are young, energetic, and educated, have the potential to excel in promoting the party’s achievements and convincing Ghanaians to vote for NPP. He noted that TESCON has played a pivotal role in successive elections and has become a critical component of the NPP’s organizational structure.
“I am giving them big support that is why I have changed commitment without inducement to commitment with inducement,” Lawyer Owusu lamented.
He continues that, TESCON now are the feature MP’s, Minister’s and others, so the top there should stretch their alms to them, because only the small cycle of the New Patriotic political party cannot do it alone.
Lawyer Owusu stressed that his sponsorship is aimed at empowering TESCON members to become a formidable campaign machine, capable of spreading the NPP’s message and achievements to every corner of the country.
He expressed his confidence in TESCON’s ability to outperform other political parties, including the National Democratic Congress (NDC), which he believes has not made significant contributions to the country’s development.
“I have checked that NDC as a political party don’t have anything to offer the good people of Ghana and has not done any reasonable cost-effective projects for the country,” he said.
Lawyer Owusu emphasized that the future of Ghana lies in the hands of the NPP and TESCON, and it is essential to invest in the youth to ensure the party’s continued success.
Lawyer Owusu’s sponsorship is expected to provide TESCON members with the necessary resources to reach out to the masses, educate them about the NPP’s achievements, and promote the party’s message. This move is seen as a strategic investment in the future of the party and the country, as TESCON members are the future leaders of Ghana.
Lawyer Charles J. Owusu’s sponsorship of TESCON is a significant boost to the NPP’s efforts to promote its achievements and convince Ghanaians to vote for the party. With this support, TESCON members are poised to become a formidable force in Ghana’s political landscape, promoting the NPP’s message and achievements to every corner of the country.
