Enter 2026 Without Fear, Put Your Trust in God – V. Rev. Kwame Boakye-Yiadom Urges Ghanaians

The Very Reverend Kwame Boakye-Yiadom of the Tafo Methodist Church has called on Ghanaians to enter the New Year with faith and confidence in God, stressing that the future belongs to Him alone.

Speaking to Loyal News Ghana during the church’s 31st Night crossover service, V. Rev. Boakye-Yiadom said it was only by the grace of God that believers had successfully crossed from 2025 into 2026.

He noted that the year ahead remains unknown to humanity, but Christians should not be afraid because God goes before them.
“Where we are going is unknown, but the Lord is with us. Only God knows what will happen tomorrow because He is the God of today, tomorrow, and forever,” he stated.

According to him, when people put their complete trust in God, He manifests His power in their lives, granting peace, blessings, and divine elevation. He assured Christians that any obstacles they encounter in the New Year will be turned around by God for their good.

The Very Reverend also appealed to the government, traditional authorities (Nananom), and all stakeholders to put God at the center of national affairs.
“If God is placed first in everything we do, success is assured. He gives wisdom and knowledge. Ghana belongs to God, and if we leave everything in His care, all will yield good results,” he emphasized.

Quoting Genesis 1:28, V. Rev. Boakye-Yiadom reminded Ghanaians that God entrusted the earth and its resources into human care, stressing that people have a responsibility to protect God’s creation.

He lamented that selfishness has led to the destruction of the environment, particularly through illegal mining activities, popularly known as galamsey.
The Methodist clergyman described the heavy equipment used in galamsey operations as dangerous and destructive, calling for a new and more effective approach in tackling the menace in the New Year.

According to him, adopting sustainable and God-centered solutions will bring peace to the country and improve the lives of Ghanaians.

He concluded by encouraging Christians to walk boldly into 2026 with faith, trusting that God will guide, protect, and prosper both individuals and the nation.
