Atwima Nwabiagya South MCE Leads Massive Clean-Up Exercise to Promote Sanitation and Healthy Living

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Atwima Nwabiagya south, Hon. Wisdom Osei Boamah has once again demonstrated strong commitment to the wellbeing of its people by organising a massive clean-up exercise for residents at Atwima Nwabiagya south Municipal.

The exercise aimed at improving environmental sanitation and promoting health living across the district.

The clean up exercise according to the MCE reflects a shared vision of collective responsibility and commitment _driven development, where every resident plays an active role in safeguarding the environment.

Hon.Osei Boamah urged residents of the municipality to make monthly sanitation exercise s a priority and a civic responsibility to ensure a cleaner,healthier, and more disciplined society.

“Clean-up exercise is shared responsibility therefore maintaining environmental cleanliness must not be left to government alone.”Hon. Osei lamented.

Adding that the assembly will soon introduction the work of Town Council in the municipality therefore resident must be ready to embrace them to reduce sanitation in the various homes, but refusal to collaborate with will face the law.

He noted that sanitation remains a critical pillar in protecting public health and enhancing the overall quality of life.

“My involvement in the exercise always compel residents and other groups to join, and this shows my level of commitment to the people of Atwima Nwabiagya south.In addition to my leadership stly”.He quote .

The exercise saw the cleaning of choked gutters,sweeping of streets, desilting of drains, weeding, and the collection of refuse from public spaces.

Again the exercise recored a strong turnout, with assembly members, sanitation officers,fun clubs,youth groups, party folks and residents actively participating, demonstrating a shared commitment to environmental cleanliness and community development.
