Assemblyman, Kwadwo Boateng, Commissions Borehole and Renovates Public Toilet for Sokoban Daban

The Assemblyman for Sokoban Daban Electoral Area, Honourable Kwadwo Boateng, has commissioned a mechanized borehole for Sokoban Methodist Kindergarten and Primary in the Nhyiaeso Sub-Metro to address the acute water shortage affecting both the pupils and residents of the area. Speaking at a brief ceremony, he urged the pupils and residents to ensure proper maintenance of the facility. In fulfilment of his promise, Honorable Boateng also handed over a renovated 24-seater toilet facility to the community, tasking all residents to desist from dumping alien materials in the pit. According to him, proceeds from the facility would be used for renovation works in the future.

Meanwhile the Headmistress of
Sokoban Methodist Kindergarten and Primary, Faustina Owusu, has offered her thanks to Honourable Boateng for resolving the water crisis. She disclosed that some of her pupils used to trekked to distant places to fetch water for use – which apparently affected their contact hours after break. She has, however, appealed for support for the construction of a school fence. According to her, the assemblymember has began engagements, but school would still need external support.
