Asante Akyem Gyadam Paramount Chief Sworn In By The Asantehene

The people of Gyadam in the Asante Akyem south municipality of the Ashanti region led by the Oyokuo Abusuapanin Yaw Amankwah on Monday 25 th May 2026 , were in the Manhyia Palace to offer the maximum support for the Swearing – In – Ceremony of their Paramount Chief of Gyadam Traditional Area , Nana Ayim Oppong Kumnipa III, in a very colourful and a well attended ceremony which coincided with other swearing in ceremony of other paramount chiefs .

Known in Private life as Mr Maxwell Oppong , and an officer of the Bureau Of National Investigations ( BNI) , Nana Ayim Oppong Kumnipa III, taking the Traditional and Customary Oath from His Royal Majesty, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Paramount Chief of Gyadam Traditional taking the Oath assured the Asantehene of his preparedness to serve the good people his traditional area, and will adhere to the call by His Royal Majesty the Asantehene at all times in rain or sunshine .

In an exclusive interview after the successful colourful swearing in ceremony, the Oyokuo Abusuapanin Yaw Amankwah in a very joyous mood assured that he together with his entire family members, elders , chiefs, opinion leaders and the people of Asante Akyem Gyadam to offer their maximum support for their Paramount Chief at all times and pray for God’s blessings , good health and a long life for Nana Ayim Oppong Kumnipa III.
