Pastor Adams Nsiah Delivers New Year Message: Ghana Must Embrace Righteousness and Obedience to God

Pastor Adams Nsiah of the Church of Canaan in Kumasi Trede has urged Ghanaians to prioritise righteousness and obedience to God in the new year, saying these are key to unlocking the nation’s blessings and achieving self-reliant development.

Speaking during a church service visited by our correspondent on Sunday, Pastor Nsiah shared what he described as a divine message for 2026.

“The Lord Almighty has already spoken and continues to speak every day. The message He has given us, and on which we are working, is righteousness,” he said.

Drawing from biblical teachings, the pastor noted, “The Bible says righteousness exalts a nation. It teaches that rain should fall continuously, and indeed we testify to that, with sunshine coming in its season. The creatures still obey what the Lord tells them.”

Pastor Nsiah emphasised that God has already blessed Ghana abundantly with natural resources.

“The Lord has blessed Ghana already. What we need now is to obey God so we can properly utilise and recycle the natural resources He has given us. This will enable our country to develop without depending on others,” he stated.

He called on Ghanaians to heed God’s word, assuring that obedience would lead to national prosperity and independence.
