Two Die in Crash Involving Hyundai H100 and Ford Tractor on Accra-Aflao Highway
Two people have died following a road crash involving a Hyundai H100 bus and a Ford tractor on the Kpetoe-Sarakope stretch of the Accra-Aflao Highway.
The accident occurred on Saturday, September 26, 2026, when the two vehicles, which were travelling from Kpetoe towards Aflao, collided.
The Hyundai H100 was carrying 12 passengers, while the Ford tractor had two occupants, bringing the total number of people involved in the crash to 14.
Firefighters from the Kpetoe Fire Station responded to the incident and rescued all the occupants from the vehicles.
The victims were subsequently handed over to personnel from the National Ambulance Service and the Ghana Police Service for further assistance.
Those who sustained injuries were transported to the Ho Teaching Hospital for medical treatment.
However, a male and a female victim were later pronounced dead at the hospital.
The Ghana National Fire Service has since appealed to motorists to exercise greater caution on the roads, avoid dangerous overtaking and obey road safety regulations to help reduce road crashes and fatalities.
