Davido finally weds the Chioma in his song “Assurance”

Davido, the celebrity artiste got married to Chioma, his long-time girlfriend and lover. In his song “Assurance” released in 2018, Davido highly eulogized Chioma.

The Afrobeat star who has been nominated for a Grammy award more than once, lavishly tied the knot with Chioma Avril Rowland on Tuesday, 25th June, 2024. The event took place in the Victoria Island area of Lagos State; Harbour Point to be precise.

The couple’s sweet journey began when they met while they underwent their studies in Nigeria’s Babcock University, in the southwestern state of Ogun.

They met in 2013, while she was offering a bachelor’s degree in Economics, and the 30BG boss, a bachelor’s degree in music-which he has made a great career out of. Davido stuck to his initial interest, music, which has greatly earned him worldwide fame.

Chioma, on the other hand, diverted her area of specialization, and later went on to become a professional chef.

The couple’s first child and son, Ifeanyi Adeleke drowned in November 2023, while he was just three years old. They later birthed a set of twins.

Their joy, friendship, and lovestory was crowned with this lavish wedding. Their couple name is none other than Chivido.
