THE ASANTE CHIEF IN NEW YORK CALLS ON OTUMFUO REFRAIN OTHERS TRYING TO CREATE ANOTHER ASANTE GROUP

The Asante chief at New York Nana Attakora Amaniampong is appealing to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the King of Ashanti Kingdom to refrain Sasamohene from forming another Ashanti Kingdom in the United States as it will cause a chaos.

He explained that, the above mentioned chiefs has set up a group call ANA while the recognized ACONA group is in session and want Otumfuo to prevent them from forming it to ensure peace.

Osofo Boansi speaking to the Media He said, the chieftaincy in America is voted and doesn’t require to be a royal before and the mandate 4 years and 2nd term will you years as last term.

He expressed worries on how Sasamohene and Tepamanhene want to keep them under Manhyia fekuo without the notice of Otumfuo and it’s disrespectful to him.

He also said that the C.U.R.E have been sending medical equipment to help the Hospitals throughout Asanteman and Ghanaians which Tepamanhene himself have benefited from it. But they trying to undermines ACONA efforts to help other Hospitals.

Professor Kwaku Agyeman Duah, Secretary to ACONA called for unity among themselves as the action of Tepamanhene and Sasamohene is only bringing division among the Ashantis in the United States
