Government Given Two Weeks Ultimatum to intervene in the Nyinahin Shooting Brutality or We will organise demonstration_NDC Secretary, Baah Acheamfo

The Nyinahin shooting incident which occurred on Tuesday Between Military Personnel and Civilian has left many in fair and panic, especially people of Nyinahin.

With this the Ashanti Regional Acting Secretary of the National Democratic Congress NDC, Baah Acheamfo has given Government two weeks Ultimatum to intervene by launching an investigation team to probe into the matter amidst fair judgement.

According to him the case must treated fairly for peace and Justice to prevail.

The shooting Brutality, he said is not the first of it’s kind in Ashanti Region with respect to Obuase incident which has been left dormant over the months without any fair judgement must taken seriously.

“Why will a military personnel shoot a civilian countless time, to the extend of walking to deceased to remove his chain, this off course is a deliberate killing and must treated fairly ‘.He added’.

Baah Acheamfo disclosed this to media at the deceased family house at Nyinahin, when the Ashanti Regional chairman of NDC and his entourage visited the police station, the cheif palace and the family of the deceased to enquire into the matter to be able to channel the right message to President of the Republic of Ghana , ,His Excellence John Dramani Mahama and the general Public.

” Am personally of the view that the said Military personnel must either be sack or sanction properly to serve as deterrent to the other security service”. He lamented ‘.

“If government fails to intervene quick and within the weeks Ultimatum given , I personally Kofi Baah Acheamfo will team with youth in Nyinahin and Demonstrate against government over this barbaric act that defirms and tarnish the image of Government and the security agencies in the country. He siad”.

On her part , Mother of 8 children Joyce Ampofo , wife of the Deceased also calls for Government support and intervention into the matter .

The Brutality, she said has brought total darkness in the family leaving them uncomfortable but Prayers for Gods strength.

“Government must act fast by making sure fair judgement is given and condemned any unlawful act of such , because we peace to prevail.
