Apostle Joseph Fosu Agyemang Marks 30 Years in Ministry, Reflects on Journey and National Development
Apostle Joseph Fosu Agyemang, the founder and leader of Fountain of Ministry International at Fumesua, has celebrated a remarkable milestone-30 years in ministry and 20 years as an ordained Reverend Minister. The anniversary celebration was held on April 12, 2025, under the theme “The Doing of the Lord.”
Speaking in an interview during the event, Apostle Agyemang described his journey as one of unwavering faith, persistence, and divine guidance. “Thirty years in ministry is no joke,” he stated. “It has taken prayer, dedication, and standing firm in God to come this far. I started on the football pitch, preaching in classrooms, on the streets, and through evangelism, singing, and prayer. From those humble beginnings, God has brought the ministry this far.”
Reflecting on the current state of ministry in Ghana, the Apostle expressed concern about how some individuals have misrepresented the calling, leading to public skepticism. “Ministry work has turned into something else in some places. Some people are doing it the wrong way, tarnishing the name of the Lord,” he said. “But I also believe there are still true and dedicated men of God out there doing the right thing.”
He further shared that through his ministry, many lives have been touched, and people have experienced divine manifestations. “There have been powerful testimonies from people who have encountered God through our ministry,” he revealed. “We’ve seen healings, breakthroughs, and lives transformed.”
Apostle Agyemang encouraged Christians, especially those struggling with faith, to trust in the Lord wholeheartedly. “Those with no faith should come to God with a good heart. Stay in His house, worship Him, and you will experience good things,” he urged. “The church is not just a building; it is a place where destinies are shaped and restored.”
In a more nationalistic tone, Apostle Agyemang also used the platform to advise Ghanaian leaders. He called on them to emulate positive examples from developed countries whenever they travel abroad. “Our leaders should learn from what works in the developed world. Ghana is blessed with many mineral resources. If we manage them well, it will create more jobs,” he said. “When people have stable jobs and income, social vices like robbery will reduce. People will wake up each day knowing there is honest work to do to put food on the table.”
The celebration was attended by members of the church, clergy, family, and friends, all gathered to honor the Apostle’s spiritual legacy. With Fountain of Ministry International continuing to grow, Apostle Agyemang’s story stands as a testament to enduring faith, hard work, and the power of vision principles that also resonate with the journey of characters like Kojo in “Beyond Wealth and Power,” who rise by staying true to their convictions.
