Afigya Kwabre South Development Is my Top Priority – DCE-Elect.
Hon. Patricia Pearl Ankrah, the District Chief Executive (DCE) Elect for Afigya Kwabre South in the Ashanti Region, has expressed her commitment to fostering development and unity in the district.
After being elected by the assembly members with an overwhelming 98% of the vote (36 votes), Hon. Patricia Pearl Ankrah stated that she is poised to collaborate with the Member of Parliament,Hon. Damata Ama Appianimaa Salam, to bring development to the people of Afigya Kwabre South.
According to Hon. Patricia Pearl Ankrah, her position as DCE will enable her to drive initiatives that promote unity and development in the district.
She pledged to ensure that the President’s agenda is implemented in Afigya Kwabre South, and that the district benefits from her leadership.
The Member of Parliament for the area, Hon. Damata Ama Appianimaa Salam, congratulated Hon. Patricia Pearl Ankrah on her victory and highlighted the significance of the Affirmative Action Bill, which has provided opportunities for women to hold key positions in governance.
She urged the residents to support their leadership team, comprising two women, to achieve their development goals.
