Afigya Kwabre North District DCE Presents 600 Dual Desks to the Education Directorate to enhance teaching and learning.

As part of the government’s effort to improve and provide quality education in the country, the District Chief Executive Officer for Afigya Kwabre North District, Emmanuel Jackson Agumah, has today presented 600 dual desks to the education directorate in the district to be distributed to the various heads of schools in the district to enhance teaching and learning.

This, according to Jackson Agumah, forms part of the government’s effort to contribute its quota to the development of sustaining and improving a good education system in the country.

He said the district has presented 800 in addition to the current 600 and is committed to doing more to ensure the district receives the necessary resources to boost education in the municipality.

Hon. Agumah lamented that one of the emerging challenges facing the schools in the district is a lack of furniture, for which his outfit, under the president of the Republic of Ghana, is committed to providing learning incentives to support teaching and learning in the district.

Receiving the items, the district director of education, Ellen Gyekyewa Eshun, commended DCE for his invaluable support to make education more lucrative.

According to her, this is reducing the furniture challenges confronting the district since this is the second batch of furniture presented to the district.
