UniMAC Appoints Ernest Ofori Sarpong as First Chancellor
The University of Media, Arts and Communication (UniMAC) has officially welcomed renowned Ghanaian entrepreneur, Mr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong, as the institution’s first Chancellor.
In a statement released by the university, UniMAC described the appointment as a significant milestone in its history and expressed confidence in Mr. Ofori Sarpong’s leadership and vision.
The university noted that Mr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong is widely recognized for his contributions to business development and entrepreneurship in Ghana. His appointment is expected to strengthen UniMAC’s efforts in promoting excellence in media, arts, communication, and innovation.
“We are honoured to welcome Mr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong as the first Chancellor of the University of Media, Arts and Communication (UniMAC). Welcome to UniMAC!” the statement said.
The appointment has been welcomed by students, staff, alumni, and stakeholders of the university, who believe his experience and achievements will inspire the next generation of media and communication professionals.
UniMAC, which was established through the merger of several media and communication institutions, continues to position itself as a leading center for training and research in Ghana’s media and creative arts sector.
