NEW CHIEF, NEW HOPE: Denugu Looks to Revamp Education Infrastructure

Denugu, Ghana – The Denugu Central Traditional Area is buzzing with renewed optimism following the enskinment of Naab C/Inspr. I.K. Winnam Kosong I as the new Sub Divisional chief.

In his inaugural address, Naab Kosong I highlighted the pressing need for improved school infrastructure, particularly at the basic school he attended, which is in a state of disrepair.
The school, built in 1974, has not undergone significant renovations, posing a risk to the safety of students and teachers.

Naab Kosong I, who holds a Professional certificate in MTTD from the Ghana Police Service and a certificate in Leadership from the Presbyterian University, Ghana, is urging the government to intervene.

He’s calling on old students, community members, and stakeholders to join forces in raising funds and resources to support the school’s development.

“The current state of the school is a concern for us, and we need collective efforts to address it,” Naab Kosong I stated.

“As a community, we must work together to ensure our children have a safe and conducive learning environment.”
