Manso Watreso has taken a significant leap forward in education with the commissioning of an ultra-modern kindergarten complex, complete with teachers’ offices. Hon. Yaw Frimpong Addo, Member of Parliament for Amansie South constituency, officiated the ceremony, joined by distinguished guests including Hon. Chief Executive Officer, constituency chairman Hon. Kofi Achempong, and representatives from the district education office.
In his heartfelt speech, Hon. Frimpong Addo emphasized the importance of investing in children’s futures. “We are here today because of our children’s future… Watreso is a town in my heart, and I remember my childhood days here, walking barefoot. I want these children to learn hard and become somebody tomorrow” He lamented.
He also addressed pressing community concerns, including the poor state of Watreso’s road network. “The road network is tattered, and I’ve heard the community has contributed to clear it. I’m bringing in professional machinery to do it properly” Hon. said.
Additionally, Hon. Frimpong Addo promised to work with the Police Commander to establish a police station, ensuring enhanced security. “The Assemblyman has requested a police station to protect against crimes, and I’m committed to fulfilling this promise.”
District Chief Executive (DCE) Hon. Clement Opoku Gyamfi thanked the community for their patience, saying, “we kept you waiting for long, but we were going round to attend issues at some nearby township.
But today is a joyous moment because if you look at the old building, you can’t even describe it. Now we have a new building that is coming to enhance teaching and learning, so let’s smile. And it is our prayer to build more buildings for Watreso.
He then presented 60 street bulbs to the Assemblyman to brighten the township
