PRINCE OWUSU BONNAH FOUNDATION FEEDS HUNDREDS ON THE STREETS OF OBUASI

More than hundreds street dwellers and hawkers received packed foods from Lawyer Prince Owusu Bonnah,a UNA-USA advocacy member, philanthropist and an entrepreneur on New Year’s Eve as part of activities to mark his “Street Feeding ” project.

The distribution of the food was distributed through the principal streets of Obuasi East municipality.

Beaming with smiles, beneficiaries of the gesture did not hesitate to grasp for the pack of foods being handed over to them as they toiled under the scorchy sun either to hawk or beg for alms.

Speaking with the media, Lawyer Prince Owusu Bonnah stated that some of the people living on the streets cannot afford a decent meal so therefore he added to his plans to feed the streets during the New Year.

Lawyer Prince Owusu Bonnah also pleaded with opinion leaders in Obuasi to all come together to help the youth living on the streets and equip them with skills training, enroll them in schools to provide a future for them. He also pleaded with them to also help to provide proper shelter for them as well.

He also stated that under the Prince Owusu Bonnah Foundation, the foundation has planned to help the youth in skills training such as bead making,soap making, sewing and other training. He added that the foundation will also help hospitals and CHPS compounds with medical equipment and also paint and renovate deplorable schools in Obuasi East as well as provide school uniforms and sandals for students in need.
