NDC Chairman Stuns Crowd with Praise for NPP Government’s Road Improvement Initiative in Offinso Municipal

In a shocking turn of events, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Party Chairman for Offinso South, Hon. Dominic Agyenim Boateng, has expressed his gratitude to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government for providing road construction equipment to the municipality.

Speaking at the launch of the District Road Improvement Project (DRIP) at Offinso Municipal, Hon. Boateng praised the NPP government for finally addressing the long-standing issue of poor road conditions in the area.

“For over 8 years, we’ve been crying out for help, but it seemed like the NPP government wasn’t listening,” Hon. Boateng said. “But now, with this program, we’re hopeful that our roads will improve, making it easier for our farmers to transport their produce to the market.”

Hon. Boateng highlighted the challenges faced by communities like Naama Kwakuta and its villages, where market days become a struggle due to poor road conditions. He emphasized that the provision of the DRIP machines will bring relief to these communities.

However, Hon. Boateng also issued a warning, stating that the NDC will be monitoring the progress of the project closely. “We’re giving the NPP government one month to fulfill their promise of allocating GH¢1 million for road development. We expect to see tangible results, not just promises.”
