Nana Oye Bampoe Addo Dedicates Governance Award to Ghana’s Vulnerable Women and Girls

​ Nana Oye Bampoe Addo, Deputy Chief of Staff in charge of Administration, has dedicated her recent Excellence in Governance Award to the vulnerable women and girls of Ghana.

Speaking after the Ghana Women of the Year Honors, the former Minister described the recognition as both a humbling milestone and a mandate to deepen her advocacy for social justice.

​In a heartfelt statement shared on her official Facebook page, Hon. Bampoe Addo emphasized that true public service must be measured by its impact on the marginalized.

​“This award belongs to every woman who has risen above abuse, every girl child who remained in school because someone fought for her, and every person who has found hope and a second chance,” she stated.

​A Journey of Sacrifice and Resilience
​Reflecting on her career, the Deputy Chief of Staff acknowledged that the path to leadership has been far from easy. She noted that while her journey has been marked by “pain, setbacks, and sacrifice,” the ability to transform lives has made the challenges worthwhile.
