KWADASO MP DONATES STREET LIGHTS AND LED BULBS TO KWADASO ELECTORAL AREAS

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Kwadaso Constituency, Hon. Kingsley Nyarko has donated over 105 streetlights and LED bulbs to assembly members to be distributed to the 15 electoral areas to address the lightening system and security challenges ahead of the Christmas festive in the area.

The rationale behind the donations is to fix all abundant and spoiled streetlights in the constituency to enable communities within the district to get a brighter to aid easy movement and prevent unfortunate theft incidents during night hours.

Speaking in an Interview with the media after providing the items to the Assemblyman, Mr Nyarko said the streetlights would provide illumination to all roads and areas in the Constituency, provide security to the constituents, and also discourage miscreants from other areas from engaging in inefarious activities.

“My love for service to the Kwadaso Constituency is immeasurable, and I want to use the Christmas festive to deliver on my promise, which gives me joy when I feel accomplished by seeing smiles on the faces of people.

Handing over the items , Mr .Nyarko said the moves were part of the broader effort to enhance security and boost confidence in the district, particularly as the Christmas season gets closer.

“Repose your confidence in me to provide more projects towards sustainable livelihoods to transform your life so as to continue supporting the government’s policies,programmes, and social intervention to ameliorate your plight, Prof. Nyarko assures.

He explained that other objective of the initiative was to illuminate communities, reduce crime, and promote sense of safety among residents and emphasized the importance of the initiative, adding that, as we approach Christmas we want to ensure that our communities are safe and secure for everyone, the streetlights will go a long way in brightening our streets and reduce the risk of criminal activities.

Mr.Nyarko assured residents that the government and the district assembly would continue to work tirelessly to improve infrastructure development and provide essential services to the people to improve their lives.

Receiving the items, the assemblyman for Tanoso Electoral area, Aron Nnadie, popularly known as (Agwangwalu) expressed excitement and gratitude to the MP for the support unleashed on all the electoral areas.

According to him, other residents in the various communities were also looking forward to enjoying a safer and more secure environment, especially during the festive season.

Mr. Nandei said the MP donation of streetlights has demonstrated the commitment by the District to improve the lives of its residents and promote development in the area.
