The General Secretary of the Brotherhood Church, James Yaw Ahenkorah, has cautioned Ghanaians to avoid practices that can shorten their lifespan. In an interview, he emphasized the need for Agric Officers to educate farmers and the general public about the risks associated with excessive chemical use in food production.

Pastor Ahenkorah shared a personal experience where a tomato farmer used chemicals to ripen unripe tomatoes, highlighting the harmful effects of such practices on human health. He also lamented the loss of natural aromas in food due to chemical use, citing the example of “Pona” yam.
