Asanteman Ahonidie Nkyerekyere Launched to Promote Environmental Cleanliness

Prophet Emmanuel Kwaku Duah, also known as the Great Bible Prophet, in collaboration with prominent figures, ( Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Nana Konadu Yiadom III Asantehemaah, Nana Ampomah Kakyire, and Nana Kwaku Afriyie Asantehemaah Sompahene) has launched the “Asanteman Ahonidie Nkyerekyere” initiative to promote environmental cleanliness in Asanteman.

The launch took place on Sunday, August 25th, 2024, at the Prempeh Assembly Hall Asafo, and was attended by chiefs, queen mothers, security personnel, imams, media representatives, and other participants.

The Great Bible Prophet

In an interview, Prophet Duah emphasized that blessings from angels are hindered by filth, and it is the responsibility of men of God to educate the masses on keeping their surroundings clean.

He stated that the initiative aims to educate the public on proper waste disposal and environmental cleanliness through training programs in schools, marketplaces, companies, and other areas where people gather.

Prophet Duah warned that those caught littering will be shamed publicly, and their names, churches, hometowns, and chiefs will be mentioned to discourage reckless littering.

Asantehemaah Sompahene, Nana Kwaku Afriyie, expressed support for the initiative, emphasizing that cleaning is essential for the betterment of Asanteman and to make it one of the cleanest cities in Ghana.

The chiefs and queens have pledged to provide tricycles and necessary resources for the initiative and plan to establish strict laws to ensure compliance. Those who refuse to abide by the laws will face severe punishment.

The “Asanteman Ahonidie Nkyerekyere” initiative is a six-month program that will educate and train people to promote environmental cleanliness.

After the training, laws will be imposed to ensure that the public adheres to proper waste disposal practices.
