MP’s Diary: Advancing Legislative Excellence: Salaga-South MP Participates in Leadership Programme for Committees
The Member of Parliament for the Salaga-South Constituency today joined colleagues at the launch of the Capacity Building Programme for the leadership of Parliamentary Committees. The event provided a platform for Members of Parliament to reaffirm their commitment to strengthening the effectiveness and impact of Parliament.
The programme seeks to enhance the leadership, oversight, and legislative competencies of Committee Chairs and Members, equipping them to deliver more effectively on Parliament’s core mandate. By deepening knowledge, improving coordination, and fostering innovation in parliamentary work, the initiative aims to strengthen Parliament’s institutional capacity and promote more responsive and accountable representation for constituents.
Ultimately, empowering committee leadership means better laws, stronger oversight, and improved service delivery for the people of Ghana.
