Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh donates to Adum-PZ fire victims.

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, NPP’s 2024 running mate to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has donated an amount of GHC150,000 and 600 bags of cement to the victims of the Adum-PZ fire outbreak.

The outspoken cum fire-brand politician, otherwise known as “Napo” made the above donation when he inspected the fire scene on Monday to commiserate with affected traders.

Out of the GHs 150,000, an amount of GHs 100,000 was tapped from the MP’s common fund, a left over amount earned when Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh was MP for Manhyia South constitutency.

MP for Manhyia South, Hon. Baffour Awuah Esq. also supported the traders with 100 bags of cement, bringing the total to 600 bags.

Napo’s donation comes as a significant support to the Adum fire victims whose businesses were devastated by the merciless inferno.

Dr. Napo advised the traders to unite and also urged city authorities to ensure that all those affected receive support without discrimination.
