USTED_K TEIN BRANCH FRESHERS WEEK CELEBRATIONS 2026 HELD_ WITH AN APPEAL FOR EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT

 

University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurs Development, USTED_K Tein branch has celebrated its freshers week 2026, under the theme: Sustaining the gains, Securing the future, the role of the intellectual”.

 

Speaking on the importance of the these freshers week celebrations, Professor Yarhanda Disson Arthur, Dean Fasme, Tein Patron USTED_K said the introduction of the freshers week is crucial and important because it paves way for students to exhibit their potentials and talents of leadership to any political party they find themselves in especially the NDC, such that placing importance on thier studies has great future in connection with political positions given as students.

Touching on the victory the NDC party won, he emphasized emphatically that, it is the hard work of the youth that led to the victory whereby the sustenance of the youth in the party especially Tein must not be taken for granted, since they play a crucial role in the victory of the party.

Adding that sustenance of the victory gains during elections is also important knowing that the victory came through the youth especially the NDC Tein which has the power to support the NDC party.

“For the NDC party to rise above height, it is the Tein Intellectuals with the vision and support to push the party forward above height.

 

Prof. Arthur called on the NDC leaders and the appointee to support the youth especially the Tein by providing job opportunities, scholarships and anything that can drive the youth in the party.

He encouraged the youth to stand firm and perform well academically to be able to embrace any opportunity.

Touching on the theme, President of Tein USTED_K, James Ba_Aroo stresses the effort and hard work of the president of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, in reviving the economy which needs to be sustained as a country. Adding that failure to sustain the economy means the NDC party will lose power in the 2028 general elections.

 

“It is therefore an avenue for all the NDC appointees and leaders to rise up and sustain the gains in the party in order to win power in the 2028, that is why we Tein have put in much effort to support the party in any form,he stated”.

USTED_K TEIN over the years, according to the Tein President have chalked success by bringing more people to the party, support student with free branded exercise books, branded Tein T-Shirts and other accessories for identification on campus and also use the achievements to win souls into the party.

The president emphasized that inasmuch as USTED_K TEIN has chalked many successes, the group still encounters many challenges which have to do with the educational fund, the membership card printing machine, and supporting the members on campus.
