MP’s Diary: Constituency Engagement

Earlier this morning, the Member of Parliament for the Salaga-South Constituency, Hon. Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, attended the final Adua (funeral prayers) for the late Mr. Issah Nyong, father of Comrade Issah Yusuf, in Kpandai. The Hon. MP, together with the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) and Constituency Executives, joined the family to commiserate with them and extended heartfelt condolences to Comrade Yusuf and the entire bereaved family.

Following the event in Kpandai, the team, led by the MP, returned to Salaga to attend the thanksgiving service for the late Madam Selomey, mother of Dr. Callistus Mahama, Executive Secretary to the President. The service was held at the Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Salaga.

Hon. Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, accompanied by her colleague and brother, Hon. Mahama Shaibu, Member of Parliament for Daboya/Mankarigu Constituency, and other dignitaries, later visited Mr. Mahama (father of Dr. Callistus Mahama) and his family to convey their condolences and express their sympathy to the bereaved family.

Later in the day, the MP and her delegation also attended several funeral ceremonies within Salaga. They extended their condolences to the respective bereaved families and offered prayers for the repose of the departed souls.

May the souls of all the departed rest in perfect peace, and may their families find comfort and strength during these difficult times.
