Update on MP’s Free NHIS Exercise
As part of the Kpembe Damba Festival, Hon. Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, MP for Salaga-South, is making healthcare more accessible by sponsoring a 3-day free NHIS registration and renewal exercise in partnership with the East Gonja NHIS Directorate.
By the end of Day Two, *63 new registrations and 403 renewals were recorded, totaling 466 participants*. The final day will be held tomorrow at the Kpembe JHS old classroom block, opposite the Kpembewura’s palace.
This well-patronised initiative has drawn praise for its direct impact, ensuring more families are covered under NHIS. It reflects the MP’s practical commitment to the well-being of her people-proof that good leadership is about action, not just words.
Constituents who have not yet registered or renewed their cards are encouraged to take advantage of this golden opportunity.
